12 Days of #108Mas: Quernzy’s Holiday #108ing Gift Guide for 2019
December 14, 2019
Holiday greetings to you, 108ers! Here is my curated list of gift ideas for your 108ing friends and family. I had a fun time putting this list together and also got some Xmas shopping done. Let me know some other 108ing gift ideas you have found. You can find last year’s gift guide here: https://fromthe108.com/2018/11/23/quernzys-108ing-holiday-gift-guide/
Gift for the Whiskey Drinker:
Your whiskey-on-the-rocks is best served with the largest block of ice you can fit into the glass. The larger the ice cube, the slower it will melt. Tovolo makes a very cool sphere-shaped ice mold. But upon further investigation, I found they also have an ice mold that is *mustache-shaped* and therefore, you need to own this immediately.
Gift for the White Claw Lover:
Yeti Rambler Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Colster – it’s a ridiculous, but perfect name for a can cooler. I received one of these fun can coolers from Mrs Beefloaf last year. I have gotten a ton of use out of it and it keeps my White Claw cold to the last drop.
Here are a couple of other fun White Claw gifts I found:
Ain’t No Laws Tee – necessary apparel for a White Claw Fan
Ain’t No Laws can sleeves – sized to fit the 12oz White Claw cans
Unique Glasses for Beer:
You really can’t go wrong with a pair of pint glasses for the beer drinker/108er on your shopping list. I really love these can-shaped beer glasses from Libbey.
Dugout Mugs are also great as pint glasses. Lucky for you, they also come with a @fromthe108 LOGO!!
Wine/Liquor Advent Calendar:
These just started to get popular in the last couple years and I’m happy to see they are easier to find this year. Of course, a nice bottle of wine is a great gift, but *24* mini bottles are even better! It’s also a fun way to try out a bunch without buying a whole bottle. I saw some available at Binny’s but you can also google to find one online.
Binny’s Liquor Gift Sets:
I love shopping at Binny’s around the holiday. It’s so fun to see what liquor brands come up with to make their gift sets unique. Yes, I love a gift set with a pair of fun drinking glasses, but now that my cabinet is completely full of glassware, I’m on the lookout for something different because I literally can’t fit any more glasses in there. I fully intended to pick out one “favorite” gift set at Binny’s, but “one” turned into “five” favorites. I’m sure these are limited quantities, so if you see one you love, go check your local Binny’s.
And of course the Chorizy-E special:
