NFL Survivor Pool: Week 2

Me and BeefLoaf discuss entering a survivor pool almost every year and then we never enter one. Finally, this year, maybe because the Jets are too good for him to do his Jets ML bit, we entered one. Joe Ostrowski put one up on Splash Sports, so we felt even more compelled.

Last Week’s Result

Rough times last week as one of our picks, the Cincinnati Bengals, went full-on Bungles mode and lost to the Patriots. This and a few others took the field of 206 entrants down to 129.

However, the Seahawks were able to win at home against rookie QB Bo Nix and keep us in the pool.

This Week’s Pick

I was really considering the Commanders as the Giants looked like poo poo last week. But my attention turned toward the Chargers. The Chargers are a team that generally give me the nervous shits, so it’s unlikely they’ll be my top choice much in the future. And even as much as I hate road favorites, the Panthers looked flat out terrible last week. They may get better as the year goes on, but it’s a very favorable match up for the Chargers. I am guessing that most people will be on the Ravens this weeks, so we’ll also be rooting Raiders.
