I Showed Pedro Grifol Sympathy for 17 Losses in a ROW and White Sox Fans said “FUCK HIM!”

I love Twitter! I don’t care if that big dummy Elon calls it X now, it’ll always be Twitter to me and it’s the perfect medium for getting thoughts out and interacting with the people. This afternoon, shortly before meeting an old friend for a few beers, but after the White Sox LOST THEIR 17th GAME IN A ROW….I decided to toss out a tweet to show a little mercy to the skipper, Pedro Grifol.

Now, you may say this is a BOLD claim that I am the #1 hater, but if we rewind to November 2022, the BLOG THAT I AM LINKING HERE was starkly in the minority of thought on ole Pedro. Over time (and many losses) not only did the White Sox fan base come around to my way of thinking, but well I wrote about him….AGAIN, and AGAIN and AGAIN….A LOT MORE! Actually so much so that today, after loss 17 in a row, 84 on the season, in only game 111, I had a little sympathy for the skip. It’s gotta really suck to be sitting where he is….and White Sox Fans, what did they think about this?

and the hits go on….ngl, I was dying laughing at plenty of these responses. Lots of these people I know personally, and are thoughtful passionate White Sox fans. Maybe they just like Fleetwood Mac and hate the disrespect the manager showed the band.

Seriously though, look at the passion from the fanbase, staring down the barrel of a potential 120 loss season and having enough “give a fuck” in them to respond. Just imagine if instead of putting the worst ballclub in modern history on the field, you had say a competitive team. I bet they’d be even more passionate. Well, it’s fun to imagine.
