My favorite Soxwood player creations

If you’re not familiar with Soxwood, you’re probably not on Twitter or you love the wholesomeness of #SoxMath or you generally avoid the most chaotic corners of WST. I appreciate him not only because he helped me with one of my favorite 108mas posts, but his insanity is something I need this baseball season. Here’s the list I had to choose from:

Ed Honk

When we look at the staff, there is only one guy I can even consider. A man that can throw 108 MPH, but also clocks in at 400lbs. That’s right, imagine if David Wells ate Lance Lynn.

Lucky for me, he already had a theme song I could add to this blog:

Alejandro Jizz

Look, I already love catchers. It’s an underappreciated and extremely difficult position. The ropes this guys sends to second base are incredible, but he’s also a power hitter. It’s crazy.

Lucky for me, he already had a theme song I could add to this blog:

Brangle Munson

As much as our shortstop Bort Sampson has been incredible to start the season. Brangle has been as reliable as any second baseman we’ve seen on the Southside. Elite range, elite DP skillz, elite everything.

Lucky for me, he already had a theme song I could add to this blog:

Greg Hogg

The White Sox have lacked consistency in right field for so long, it’s great to have a massive hunk like Greg Hogg out there. The home runs would be enough, but the gold glove defense and my general admiration for his grandpa easily make him one of my favorites.

Lucky for me, he already had a theme song I could add to this blog:
