College Football Week 6 Bets

James Madison came through for the blog in the early slate last week.  However, NC State and Florida State did not.  That won’t stop us from bouncing back and getting back to a winning record on the season this week!  (7-8 on the season)

Brew Hand Bet One: TCU vs Kansas (Kansas +7)

This game is going to be absolutely electric.  Two high powered offenses going back and forth.  Even though I haven’t blogged about Kansas every week, I have played them every single week and I won’t stop this week when they are the home team with College Gameday on site.  TCU is coming off a big win at home against Oklahoma and I expect a letdown game for them having to go on the road in another big game.

Brew Hand Bet Two: BYU vs Notre Dame (BYU Moneyline +155)

BYU’s top returning receiver Gunner Romney is finally healthy and will play tomorrow.  This should bring a big boost to the Cougar offense against a Notre Dame team that has been very questionable all season.  The game is being played in Vegas and it is being downplayed how well BYU fans travel.  This is technically a home game for Notre Dame and their fans travel well, but this will be truly a neutral site.  Things finally will start to click for BYU’s inconsistent offense after having a challenging schedule through the first five weeks of the season.

King Nom’s #108ing Bet: Florida State vs NC State (NC State -3)

NC State heads home after a hard fought game at Clemson last week to take on a Florida State team in prime time.  The Wolfpack has one of the longest home win streaks in football and I look for that to continue.  This could be a tough matchup, but I expect the home team to cover the points.  This will send FSU to a second straight loss and yet another horrible weekend for Svo!
