Favorite Album: @D_Rey26

Danny is one of my favorite dudes to see at the park and talk metal. Sometimes, I’m so drunk I just talk to random dudes about metal at the park and think it’s Danny. But either way, I wanted to know about his favorite album:

Favorite Album

Well there are so many to choose from and this changes weekly for me but today I am going to choose Between The Buried and Me’s 2009 album “The Great Misdirect”

First time you heard it

While I can’t pinpoint the exactly moment I first heard this album I know that I’ve had alot of good times with friends, family members and girls I’ve been in relationships prior

How often do you listen to it?

I’ll play BTBAM’s “The Great Misdirect” at least once a month. At the gym or on roadtrips, driving to work, anytime really when I’m not listening to Rammstein or the latest Trivium album. The last time they were in town BTBAM played this album in it’s entirety at the HOB. Jamming with my sis and best friends only adds to the many memories.

Why is this your favorite album?

All the good memories and good moments in this album always stick with me. The horse whinnying during “Disease, Injury, Madness”. Paul Waggoner taking over on Vocals during “Dessert of Song” it’s just a breakthrough album by a great progressive metal band who I’ve seen multiple times live.

Which track would be your walk up music?

Even though they aren’t anywhere close to a favorite band of mine I would choose Metallica’s “All Nightmare Long” some Paul Konerko vibes and a badass intro.
