Confidence Pool: Week 18

As I was perusing the pools at Splash Sports, I saw one that looked like it would almost certainly have an overlay. I was the 550th entrant and there is a guaranteed payout based on having a thousand players. The pool ended up with 680 entries. I grabbed 2 spots. One that I’ll actually think about the picks and the other, that will be the squarest strategy possible. I’ll order this each week in order of the odds provided, taking only the favorites. In a pool that pays the top 100, we’re gonna see if this dumbass strategy gets me into that range. I’ll be sharing so you can follow along.

Last Week’s Result

I was out of town and unable to move down the Colts when the Flacco start was announced and the odds shifted. So that Colts loss hurt bad. We’ve dropped to 34th overall. Still in the money, but need a big week to get back into the top 20. The picks below are definitely subject to change as we learn more in the next 24-48 hours and odds shift accordingly.
