College Football Week 7 Bets

The blog didn’t get a win last week, however, thanks to Kansas we have our first push of the season.  After a winless week we are back and motivated to right the wrongs from last week for a slate of what should be some outstanding games all day and night.

Brew Hand Bet One: Alabama vs Tennessee (Over 66)

This is by far the most anticipated game of the season up to this point.  Tennessee’s offense, led by Heisman candidate Hendon Hooker, plays up tempo and can give Alabama’s defense fits.   The biggest question is if Bryce Young will play in this game. (Yes, he’s playing) Two of the best quarterbacks in the country will make this game one that everyone will be talking about for years.  Stay tuned in to this one as it should be a track meet.

Brew Hand Bet Two: Iowa State vs Texas (Texas -15.5)

The only thing that I don’t like about this bet is how much I really like this pick.  Quinn Ewers is back and healthy and showing why he is one of the elite QB’s in the country.  He faces a big test against Iowa State this weekend who boasts one of the best defenses in the country.  On the other side, Iowa State’s offense is atrocious while the Longhorn defense is buzzing.  Iowa State might not find the end zone at any point in this game.  Texas is ready to hit their stride and show why they will win the Big 12 and make a New Years 6 bowl game.  They’re THAT good.  This game might get ugly.  Hook ‘Em!

Alright! Alright! Alright!

King Nom’s #108ing Bet: USC vs Utah (Utah -3.5)

Don’t think that I haven’t heard the whispers out there.  I’m well aware that my picks of the week are 1-5.  Normal people would throw in the towel by now, but not me!  I’ve got a pretty good feeling that my record to date is just a bunch of future investments and that I’m about to go on a heater baby!  That being said, the pick this week is Utah -3.5 at home.  This will be the game that starts off the heater.  Jump on now because we are winning some money!  Go Utes!
