Mailman Jack’s Nifty Fifty – Volume 2
This is fun, at least for me. Let’s keep going.
AC/DC – Highway To Hell: Turn this up to 11.
Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin IV: Starts off with Black Dog and never lets go. (Just like the fit of Robert Plant’s pants)
Fleetwood Mac – Rumours: An epic album for the masses, and the few. (That’s kinda profound as well as nonsensical)
The Who – Who’s Next: Just drop the needle and immerse yourself in the glory that is this wonderful record. Starts with Baba O’Reilly (Teenage Wasteland – Freaks and Geeks reference)
The Rolling Stones – Sticky Fingers: There’s no get up and get a beer or take a leak song on this album. BITCH!
Van Halen – Van Halen: I could just play the track Eruption over and over, but just let the whole side play out.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers – Damn the Torpedoes: I’ve probably listened to this record a gazillion times and probably will a gazillion more.
Bruce Springsteen – Born To Run: “From your front porch to my front seat. The door’s open but the ride ain’t free.” I probably could’ve picked other Bruce records but he may pop up again in a later category.
Heart – Dreamboat Annie: Anybody that knows me a wee bit has probably heard me play this symbol of perfection once or twice. The Wilson Sisters rock!
Joan Jett and The Blackhearts – I Love Rock ’n Roll: So put another dime in the jukebox baby! I have so much love and respect for Joan Jett, it’s kinda embarrassing.
*Bonus The Beatles – Abbey Road: like most of their records, it’s great. Confession time, sometimes I think they’re overplayed, but i do love their music, don’t come @ me, it’s a me thing. LMAO Next up is Live albums!
