Two Boots Continues To Suck

I wanted to like Two Boots coming into the show, but we’re seeing that SpyBot is the superior droid in this show (especially with subtitles)

Two Boots on the other hand thinks he did the right thing. Going as far as to think that Lawson will come around. Only realizing how fucked up he is when Lieutenant Blake tells him his stupid boots aren’t standard issue for droids and to get rid of them. Just the worst droid in the galaxy.

The Jedi Also Continue To Suck

To quote President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho: “Shit. I know shit’s bad right now.” But that’s no excuse for the Daki and Devon to go to Lawson’s house of all places. I know they need help, but you ain’t got to ruin someone’s life over it.

I don’t know if the strategy in the writing is to make Maul be more of an anti-hero in the show or if they’re showing how much the Jedi Order was in disarray, but it’s working on both levels. I’m actually rooting for Daki to get killed and Devon to fall to the dark side. It’s happening….

Side note: Lawson definitely banged Rheena Sul.

Marrok vs Maul

They made Marrok pretty bad ass in this episode. But part of me feels like Maul wasn’t even trying. He can’t quickly dispatch their common enemy. So while I do think this is the best an Inquisitor has looked in a while, I don’t think Marrok is quite as talented as it seems. I do wonder what’s under that helmet, since I’m pretty sure he dies and is resurrected by the Night Sisters. I kind of wanted it to be a reincarnated Savage Opress, but he’s not big enough. I think there will be some kind of reveal.

That said, the episode does end with him talking to someone he refers to as “My Lord”. The holo makes it look like it’s probably old Palps. But I think they’re faking us out and it’s Vader.
