The Santa Claus Pro Set Cards | 12 Days of #108Mas
When I was a kid, there was nothing better than cracking some packs of football or baseball or basketball cards. Even though I don’t collect anymore, I still enjoy opening a pack of cards. I enjoy it even more when there is a chase involved. And in the early ’90s, Pro Set gave us the Santa Claus card. I know the ’89 is the valuable one, but I don’t care about that one because it wasn’t available in packs. As a kid, I had no chance of getting that.
What I could, and did, get was the 1990 Santa Claus card. I was like 10 years old and hitting that gem was f*cking awesome! I know they made a billion of them, but I kinda like that. As I was looking around to make sure I had my years right, I saw some Santa cards from other manufacturers that had like 200 total. Come on now, this ain’t a real card, let kids get the thing. Don’t make it something adults are paying $900 for. There are plenty of other opportunities for that. Let the kids get a gosh darn Santa card!

Another thing I liked about the Pro Set cards was that it was a drawing with a bunch of little things hidden in there. You know what I don’t like? The Santa cards with a real person. They’re creepy. Get that outta my face.

I know there are a bunch out there, so let me know what your favorite Santa Claus card is.
