Was Jesus An Alien? | 12 Days of #108Mas
In 2017 I had an idea for a series of blogs leading up to Christmas, which we called the 12 Days of #108Mas. Since then, each year, I’ve sat down and looked around the internet for ideas to write about. This year, I was watching a bunch of xmas related youtube videos. Combining those videos with the normal ancient aliens type stuff I watch regularly, lead to me starting to see videos like this pop up:
And of course I had to click on it, so now the rabbit hole begins. From the short that lead me to the video above to really in-depth videos breaking it all down, like this guy.
So let me give you the quick break down. First, a lot of this goes back to the mythical beings called the Anunnaki. Lots of crazy ass alien pseudo-science points to these guys. Quick oversimplified summary of them: they were Sumerian sky gods that a bunch of people think were real and were aliens and helped accelerate technology on earth and of course created some hybrid children with humans.
And there ya go, there’s the connection. The idea is that many religions, not just Christianity, have stories of messengers coming along right before an exceptional birth occurs. In the bible, this happens a few times: Abraham and Sarah having Isaac well after they should have been able to have children, then John the Baptist’s birth was similar to Isaac’s, and then soon after that, Jesus born to a virgin mother who was visited by an angel. If you watch a lot of these types of youtube vids and alien shows, the idea of angel = alien is a common one.
Another thing in some of these is that the visitors coming to see Jesus at birth, it wasn’t because they saw a star in the sky that they were tracking, but it was a damn spaceship. I mean, if I see a spaceship, I’m running, but these were apparently different times.
I hope you enjoyed this wildness. I don’t often get to write about these crazy ideas that are out there, so this was fun to research. I woulda been watching something similar regardless.
