College Football Week 8 Bets

The blog once again went 1-2 last week, this weekend is when things turn back around in our favor!  Additionally, we have a NEW weekly feature.  Starting this week will be the debut spot of a different guest picker each week.  That’s right, we’re going College Gameday format and bringing in a rotating weekly guest to make their pick of the week!  This week we have, the co-host of the Yumper and Svo at the Show Podcast and a contestant in the #108WeightLoss Competition our guy Svo!!

Brew Hand Bet One: Kansas State at TCU (K. State +3.5)

Kansas State is coming off of a bye week and has had two weeks to prepare for a very talented TCU team.  TCU’s last two games have been one score games, including needing a big 4th quarter rally to then win in double overtime.  Kansas State’s defense is the best defense that TCU will have seen up to this point and K. State’s offense led by Adrian Martinez and Deuce Vaughn will be too much for the TCU defense to handle.  The Wildcats could even win the game outright and make Huck a very happy camper.   GO CATS!

Brew Hand Bet Two: Mississippi State at Alabama (MSU team total under 19.5)

After losing the best game of the season last week to Tennessee, Alabama will be coming into this game with an “FU” attitude.  Mississippi State will be Nick Saban and the Tide’s victim after a tough loss.  Additionally, Alabama absolutely owns MSU, here’s the outcome of the last 4 head to head matchups between the two teams:

2018 Alabama 24-MSU 0

2019 Alabama 38-MSU 7

2020 Alabama 41-MSU 0

2021 Alabama 49-MSU 9

Alabama is pissed off and they will take all sorts of frustrations out on the Bulldogs.  I fully expect a shit pumping by Alabama here.  Roll damn Tide.

King Nom’s #108ing Bet: Cincinnati at SMU (Cincinnati -3)

The whispers have turned into yells.  The torches and pitchforks are out and everyone hates my weekly picks.  I don’t blame them.  I have given the people nothing to be happy about with my college picks. (Except for that one time when I picked a winner) It would be easy to just fold up shop and go into hiding.  I’m not a quitter and I’m certainly no Mush.  We will get this shit turned around right now!  The pick is Cincinnati -3.

Guest Picker of the Week- Svo: Florida State ML vs Bye Week

I feel like my Seminoles have taken a verbal and literal beating the last few weeks against 3 ranked teams, as well as from King Nom.  So I’m using my guest spot on this blog this week to let you know FSU is going to run the table the rest of the season with money line wins against Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Miami, Louisiana, and the Battle for the Governor’s Cup against Florida. Hop on the ‘Noles bandwagon and make some money for the rest of the College Football Season.
