One of my favorite people on this godforsaken app is #108Tourney darling, @shenaninganns. Outside of making great content on both X and Twitch, she also made one of my personal favorite #108Tourney hype videos ever when facing our guy Wally $. Take a look –
That’s pretty amazing. We had a nice talk last season (all sorts of topics) and she offered to show my daughters how to play lacrosse. One thing that I had been noticing about Shannon, besides being awesome, was her seemingly “hit and miss” dating life. Seemed odd. Let’s see what we are working with.
Shannon is a classic “guy’s girl” IMO. She like sports, she likes video games, she likes drinking beers. She’s a dancer, she likes animals, she has her shit together in this thing called life. One huge positive is her sense of humor, it’s something you have to appreciate. Look at this video –

I fancy myself a dating expert despite what Chorizy and BeefLoaf say or my track record shows.
So what are we gonna do to help our girl Shannon? We’re pulling out all the stops and creating our own version of the popular hit TV show The Bachelorette! That’s right, starting on June 6th you can submit a quick video (to fromthe108@gmail.com) talking about why you’d like to take this lovely woman out on a date. Speaking of dates, we even have that all figured out too!

On June 20 the guys Shannon selects, will go on a FIRST DATE at Lawrence’s Fish and Shrimp! If you make a good impression on Shannon and she asks you back for a second date (gives you the golden shrimp perhaps?), you’ll be whisked away to Cork & Kerry At The Park on June 24 to take in a $5 Tallboy Tuesday and maybe a White Sox game! Shannon will select her winner (if there is one) on June 26th’s FromThe108 podcast. Sounds great right?
So get your rap together and put it on video. Talk about yourself, maybe a brief background including your likes and dislikes. What are your hobbies? What are you passionate about?
