As I was perusing the pools at Splash Sports, I saw one that looked like it would almost certainly have an overlay. I was the 550th entrant and there is a guaranteed payout based on having a thousand players. The pool ended up with 680 entries. I grabbed 2 spots. One that I’ll actually think about the picks and the other, that will be the squarest strategy possible. I’ll order this each week in order of the odds provided, taking only the favorites. In a pool that pays the top 100, we’re gonna see if this dumbass strategy gets me into that range. I’ll be sharing so you can follow along.
Last Week’s Result
Taking the favorites in order of odds was pretty solid week 1. Obviously the Bengals hurt, but we ended up with 104 points. This placed us tied for 143rd. While this is out of the money, we’re hanging around. Let’s see how the favorites do this week.
