This past Thursday, we had Scott Lewis on from the 79th and Halas Podcast to discuss the Bears draft and the outlook for their 2024 season. He had a lot of positive things to say, especially due to the two first round picks. Here’s a clip of Scott talking about Caleb:

As a White Sox blogger and podcaster, my initial reaction is one of hesitance to get excited about a draft pick. It’s not only being jaded by the White Sox making bad pick after bad pick, but that I am providing my thoughts to readers and listeners and I want to set realistic expectations for Sox prospects and signings.
BUT I don’t have to do any of that for the Bears. This past week was one of maybe a handful we’ll dedicate to the Bears all year. So I am going full blind faith in Caleb to lead the Chicago Bears to the Super Bowl. LFG!!!
